Great place for any Chef to find the tools and toys we need for our daily operations and for experimenting. Love that they also carry chef coats, aprons, hats and shoes. The knife sharpening isn't same day, so for me that is a draw back. The staff is knowledgeable about their items and happy to order anything you need. They carry the tablets for the Alto Shams which is a huge plus! Conveniently located across the street from Restaurant Depot. It's a Chefs best place to go for getting our equipment and then go across the way for food supplies!

Bought chafing dishes last year, cheapest compared to everywhere else! Actually cheaper than renting. Unbelievable! Love this place wanna go back just to browse and buy coz they have everything.

Today, Aug 3rd, 2016, I needed a lid for my aluminum 12 qt. pot. I searched the internet, found some cheaper prices, but the shipping costs were double or triple the cost of the lid. No thank you... plus I didn't wanna wait for days to receive the lid. I needed it ASAP, now! I called ahead at Chef's Toys with my lid specifications; they searched their inventory within seconds, located it... living local, I went to their Torrance location to retrieve it. During my entire visit, the staff was extremely courteous and friendly (I liked that a lot)... one staff member at the checkout counter even had funny jokes-- about the spongy floor mat I happen to be standing on as I paid for my 12 qt. pot lid. So happy that Chef's Toys could accommodate me, and immediately (rather than the wait associated with Amazon, et al.) I've purchased a hard-to-find item, previously (biscuit cutters). Today, per usual, was definitely a four-star experience for me! Highly recommended for folks who're serious about their food prep tools.

Love going here ok, I know it's days chef toys. Well I like toys and gadgets so I feel at home. I always pickup some kitchen accessories where ever I'm near this place.

Great selection and prices. I bought a stainless sink for my garage for less than anywhere else I could find. Good selection on kitchen basics for even non professionals, like bowls, mixing spoons, cutting boards and knives.
